Nick, if the store is Everything about Music of whatever the hell you said, what do hairdyes have to do with music? What do really odd looking panties and bras...have to do with music?
They never had an image, and to say that you knew how Hot Topic was "when they first came out" is idiotic, because like Marina said, you haven't been shopping there ever since they "first came out".

Pictures are often misleading. And you can't say you've seen pictures of every Hot Topic store.

You can change the image, and not ruin your image.
If a store CHANGED it's image, then they didn't ruin the image , they just CHANGED the image. Therefore whatever they sell ISN'T RUINING their image BECAUSE THEY CHANGED IT.
However! If a store stayed with it's image, and sold things that goes AGAINST their image, ONLY THEN they're RUINING their image. But this is not the case with Hot Topic, sicne they CHANGED their image.
-----
Nick don't be pissed off that Hot topic CHANGED it's image. You still shop there, so screw you. Just ignore the stuff you don't like, because I'm sure the products you like isn't getting any damage by the products you don't like.

Hot Topic = Store that sells things that are " in scene", Hot Topic sells things that are popular right now, hot topic sells pop-culture related things. They have always been doing this. Just because their slogan is "Everything about Music" DOESN'T mean that the store has to sells everything about music. Slogans are used for comercializing, and they don't always have to be true.
